At around 11.55pm on Saturday 24 August 2024, the victim was exiting a carpark on Roe Street in Northbridge when a man approached the vehicle and blocked the road. After the victim beeped their horn, the man jumped on the bonnet. Sliding off the bonnet, he began punching at the vehicle yelling abuse at the victim. The man got back on his feet and attempted to rip the side mirror off, causing damage to the mirror.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, medium build with long dark hair and a moustache. The man was wearing a dark top, a black jacket, beige pants and white shoes.
