At around 6.30pm on Saturday 1 June, the victim stopped his taxi on South Street in Beaconsfield and requested the unknown suspect to exit his vehicle. The unknown suspect had been picked up earlier from South Fremantle, and after the victim missed a turn, the suspect began verbally abusing the driver. When the suspect exited the car, he threw a beer bottle at the car, breaking the left rear tail light and denting the boot of the car.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: medium build, light skinned with light hair and a moustache. The man was wearing a long-sleeved jumper with glasses hanging from his collar.
