At around 1.00am on Friday 7 June 2024, the victim who had finished playing a gig, loaded his musical equipment into his car parked on Aberdeen Street in Northbridge and drove away. The victim realised he hadn’t loaded his Fender MIM Jazz bass guitar into the car that he had placed against the side of his car. The victim returned to discover is guitar had been taken.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: medium build, white skinned, between 30 to 35 years of age with long brown hair, bear and moustache. He was wearing a camo jacket over a brown t-shirt, black pants with black sneakers.
