At around 2.00pm on Thursday 14 March 2024, the victim was driving a bus with passengers along Albany Highway in Victoria Park. The victim stopped at a bus stop near the intersection of King George Street and exited the bus for a brief moment to check something on the outside of the bus. When the victim returned to the driver’s cabin, he discovered his iPhone 13 had been removed from near the payment machine.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, large build, between 35 to 40 years of age with dark coloured hair tied back into a small pony tail. She was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and was carrying a black shoulder bag.
