At around 6.00pm on Saturday 6 April 2024, a woman entered an Adult Store on Amelia Street in Balcatta and browsed the store for some time. The staff member saw the woman take a chain strap dress off a display shelf and place it in her handbag before heading towards the exit. Near the exit the woman grabbed numerous small items and ran out the store. The staff member chased after the woman but was unable to catch up to her.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 35 to 45 years of age with short blonde hair. She was wearing a white Reebok t-shirt, black pants with sunglasses.
