At around 7.15am on Tuesday 27 August 2024, the victim returned to his tray-top Ute parked in a public car park on Plain Street in East Perth to find his two bicycles that had been chained to the tray-top stolen. Unknown offenders had cut the chain in two places in order to remove the two mountain bikes.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: tan skinned, medium build, between 35 to 45 years of age with brown curly hair. He was wearing a camo sleeveless jacket over a blue t-shirt, black shorts with white sneakers.
