At around 4.30pm on Friday 26 April 2024, the victim locked his e-scooter to a bike rack in Yagan Square in Perth using a combination chain lock. The victim returned at around 5.30pm to find his e-scooter and chain lock missing. CCTV shows a man walk up to the victim’s e-scooter at around 4.10pm and remove the e-scooter and ride away on it.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, large build, between 40 to 50 years of age. He was wearing a blue and white shirt, beige knee length shorts, blue joggers with a green bucket hat and was carrying a black backpack.
